Hi All,

I’m a huge fan of open houses. They provide a low stress low anxiety atmosphere for potential buyers to see your listing. A lot of realtors don’t like to do open houses and feel they don’t do anything to sell a property.

THEY ARE WRONG!

    I have other Realtors I work closely with and trust that help me with open houses.

    That said, I LOVE OPEN HOUSES!

    Alot of Realtors don’t but Opens are one of my favourite things in Real Estate.

    What are your thoughts?

  3. Mike,

    Awesome stuff. I did some open houses this summer for a model home – did not work out well for me.

    However after doing some more research I am planning on doing a couple open houses a week in January and February. I figure since no one else is doing them in the winter months, I’ll have a good market share.

    Plus, if you find the right types of homes in your target price range it can be a great way to not only sell that house, but pick up buyers for other homes on the market.

    I’ll let you know how things go after I’ve done a couple next month. Keep up the good work!

    Good to hear from you!

    Open houses might be a bit challenging right now given whats happening in the US market, but I think things are improving down there and those open houses wil get busier.

    Open houses are very powerful for getting the word out about listings and getting people into see the listings as well as picking up buyers. When I started my business, most of my leads came from Opens.

    If you’re just starting out, I strongly suggest you do as many open houses as possible.

    WHY on EARTH did you not have a professional or at least a friend video your talk for you! Here you are talking about professional photographers enhancing a photo shoot and we watch you turn off your digital camera /movie setting!! Is this supposed to be a joke….it should to to utube!!
