Open houses are very powerful for getting the word out about listings and getting people into see the listings as well as picking up buyers. Open houses might be a bit challenging right now given whats happening in the US market, but I think things are improving down there and those open houses wil get busier.

Open houses are very powerful for getting the word out about listings and getting people into see the listings as well as picking up buyers. When I started my business, most of my leads came from Opens.

If you’re just starting out, I strongly suggest you do as many open houses as possible.

I did some open houses this summer for a model home - did not work out well for me. However after doing some more research I am planning on doing a couple open houses a week in January and February. I figure since no one else is doing them in the winter months, I'll have a good market share.
