I will recommend Mike Stewart as a realtor to anyone without reservation. I have worked with several realtors before, both as buyer and seller, and they pale in comparison to the quality of service that Mike provides.
My husband and I met Mike when I inquired about a property I found on the MLS website. He came across as very knowledgeable and sincere.
When we decided we needed help in negotiating a purchase, I called him and he came to our home promptly and provided us with very valuable advice and helped us weigh the pros and cons of the property. In the end we decided against the property and asked Mike to help us look for another property to buy.
Looking for a condo was a long process, trying to match a property with our budget, investigating the property to make sure there were no defects, and then putting forward an offer. Through all the ups and downs, Mike was with us all the way. He was always there for the viewing, for the inspection, for the negotiation. If he was away, his team – Adam Scalena and Sean Finnigan — provided very efficient back up for him so we felt we were always well taken care of.
Whereas other realtors I have worked with before only had a quick sale as objective, Mike always had our welfare in mind. His knowledge about the real estate market is wide and he was able to give us an honest appraisal of each property’s quality of construction and sale history. These were valuable inputs in our assessment of what to buy.

We engaged Mike based on a recommendation from a very good friend of mine. It was initially a selfish transaction as we just wanted some market colour from an expert. We were debating buying a property on leasehold land, and were curious about the long term value of this sort of purchase.
