Developer Team for Cambie + King Edward
Cambie + King Edward is the first Vancouver development for Tianco Group, a Tianqing Group subsidiary that was established in Montreal in 2013. Tianqing is the largest real estate company in China’s Gansu province. Founded in 2000, Tianqing Group’s 24 companies offer a broad portfolio of services ranging from property development to real estate brokerage and hotel management. Award-winning Tianqing Group has successfully developed numerous properties throughout China, totalling eight million square meters.

Tianco has collaborated with Vancouver-based Romses Architects to develop Cambie + King Edward. Romses is a small, collaborative design firm founded in 1972 with a strong reputation in urban design, master planning, and residential/mixed-use developments. Principal, Scott Romses, has received numerous awards for his work in Vancouver, Los Angeles, and China, including the design for a prototype vertical farm and a city master plan for Huangxi, China. He has taught at the School of Architecture at UBC and was recently the acting chair of the City of Vancouver Urban Design Panel.
