Delta is broken up into three distinct communities: Ladner, Tsawwassen, and North Delta. Delta is planning for the future and is well known to be a very promising place to do business. Delta has also developed four tax exemption programs to help business on the Downtown Ladner Waterfront, 72nd Avenue Corridor, and River Road East Industrial Landfill sites. Tsawwassen Mills, in the first nation, and other development is making this area to being a very liveable area. Detached housing was once the norm in Delta but with the shortage of housing, there has been an influx of multi-family dwellings.
With a population of 99,863 makes it one of Canada’s smallest-sized cities. Delta is rich with different nationalities and cultures.
