Surrey is the second largest city in BC, with a population around 508,000. Cloverdale contains a mix of fully attached townhomes along with residential homes and recently built large homes. The Fleetwood suburb is made up of traditional detached residential homes and some recently developed low-rise condos. Guildford has cheaper semi-detached townhomes and detached houses that are more suitable for smaller families on a tight budget and single professionals looking for affordability. Newton is one of the most affluent neighbourhoods in the city with spacious mansions and bungalows. South Surrey like Newton, is a well-off community. There are low-rise condominiums with several amenities that include parks, elementary schools, and a gorgeous view of the ocean. Whalley has quite a few condo towers. There are some residential houses and fully attached townhomes on the outskirts of Whalley that are better suited for small families.
