Boutique Oakridge Condominium Proposed for 41st & Columbia

Benest Homes and GUD Group have submitted an application to redevelop two single-family lots at the northeast corner of Columbia Street and West 41st Avenue into a 4-storey, woodframe lowrise. A total of 23 strata units are to be built over two levels of underground parking, providing space for 26 vehicles and 50 bicycles. More than 65% of residences have two or more bedrooms.

A variety of PassivHaus strategies will be employed for 187 West 41st to reduce energy needs and carbon emissions, in order to meet Vancouver Green Buildings Policy requirements. EV charging stations will also be included in the parkade and a rainwater management system incorporated into the site landscaping.
