    The Heart of the Town Centre

    Construction of ERA Phase 1 is underway which will see the transformation of an entire block of Plaza Street, between Dewdney Trunk Road and Brown Avenue. This 2.33-acre parcel encompasses a 6-storey North Building, a 5-storey South Building, and two 3-storey ground-oriented apartment buildings in between. A landscaped walkway dividing the GOA buildings will connect the north and south mid-rises, while an outdoor amenity space will establish the western portion of the east-west pedestrian spine that provides an internal link through the entire ERA community. Three commercial retail units on the ground floor of the South Building will front Dewdney Trunk Road. The 49 rental apartments will also be located in the South Building.

    Amenities at ERA Phase 1

    Indoor amenities will include a gym and common room with access to outdoor or rooftop amenity areas. Outdoor pedestrian amenities include bike racks, benches, tables, an outdoor barbeque pit, and urban gardens.

    Parking and Storage
    A single level of underground parking extends under the entire phase to provide separated residential and commercial parking for 243 vehicles. Conduit will be provided to allow 50% of parking spaces to be wired for future electric vehicle charging.

    Developer Team for ERA Phase 1

    ERA is a partnership between Bruce Johnston and Tom Meier of Johnston Meier Insurance and SwissReal Group. They have chosen Iredale Architecture and Durante Kreuk to design their vision for a new town core.
