With a Net Zero sustainability goal, Mayfair West will be fully electric, 30% of the site is green space with 25% tree canopy coverage, community garden plots enable local food production, and bike share stations will encourage cycling.

Situated on West 41st Avenue near Oak Street on Vancouver’s West Side, Mayfair West offers residents a 2.3-acre park, a 69-seat daycare, and 24,000 sq ft of commercial space for a variety of retailers.

What Amenities does Mayfair West have?

At the centre of Mayfair West is a 2.3-acre park.
At the heart of the community is a 2.3-acre public park that features a U12 soccer field, natural play features, and accessible landscaped pathways.

At the north end of the park, along 38th Avenue, will be a 7,605-sq-ft, 69-space childcare facility. A 9,945-sq-ft outdoor play area will occupy the park side of the building.

A mews on either side of the park — an extension of 39th Avenue — provides a mid-site east-west connection. There is also a greenway running along the east side of the north-south street.

There will be a commercial mews parallel to 41st Avenue where the development’s greatest density is located. Commercial tenants may include a bakery, coffee shop, drinking establishment, flower shop, grocery store, and restaurants.

All residential buildings will have accessible rooftops with outdoor amenities — such as community garden planters and kids’ play areas — and adjacent indoor amenities.

Internal courtyards throughout the site are intended as common spaces for residents that feature social meetings spaces, children’s play areas, and food gardens with potting benches, composting systems, and tool storage.

Does Grosvenor provide Parking & Storage?

Each of the community’s seven parcels will have their own consolidated underground parking. All resident, and 10% of commercial parking spaces, will have an EV charging outlet.

Car share vehicles will be provided in every development phase, including five vehicles for The Mews. Mayfair West will also have two new public bike share stations.
