A New Townline Burquitlam Landmark

Townline and Quadreal Property Group are proposing a mixed-use development for a prominent corner on North Road in the rapidly changing Burquitlam neighbourhood. Designs by DIALOG detail a
45-storey market condominium tower, an 18-storey purpose-built rental tower, and a 2-storey podium with street-facing commercial units and lane-oriented townhomes. A total of 378 condominiums and 7 townhomes are anticipated, ranging from one to three bedrooms. An enhanced amenity package totalling 35,300 sq ft will include an outdoor 25m lap pool.

Transit-oriented development around the Evergreen Line’s Burquitlam Station is expected to add 9,000 – 10,000 new homes over the next 20 – 25 years. Designed as a compact, complete community, it will feature a mix of housing types with shopping, jobs, schools, public spaces, and amenities within walking distance. Convenient transit options provide one-transfer connections to New Westminster, Burnaby, and Downtown Vancouver in less than 45 minutes.

Floor Plans for North Road
A 45-storey condominium tower with a 2-storey podium proposes to provide seven 2-storey ground-oriented townhomes amd 378 condominiums, of which 34 have accessory lock-off units. The condominums range in size from 509 – 960 sq ft with the following unit mix:

Amenities at North Road
Market condominium owners will enjoy 25,700 sq ft of common
amenity space with indoor amenities located on levels 2, 3, and 45. These feature music rooms, lounges, a co-work space, gym, yoga studio, sauna rooms, guest rooms, and a dog spa. The top floor will offer a rooftop terrace with adjacent sky lounge that includes a games room, lounge, and communal kitchen. An outdoor amenity space on the podium roof that is shared with apartment tenants will include a dog run, garden, kid’s play area, patio lounge, 25m lap pool with lounge chairs and patio seating.

Parking and Storage
Five underground parking levels will accommodate 681 bicycles and 665 vehicles, including 417 market condo, 128 rental apartment, 97 visitor, 33 commercial, and 7 accessible stalls. Each condominium parking space will have an a Level 2 EV charger.

At ground level are short-term racks for 12 bicycles and an end-of-trip facility for commercial tenants. Each tower also has bike repair rooms. As part of the project’s transportation demand management measures, three Modo car share vehicles will be provided.
