    Revitalizing Heritage
    PortLiving and Studio B Architects are collaborating again for the fourth Midtown project of PortLiving’s Mount Pleasant Collection. Under a Heritage Revitalization Agreement, Connacher House will be relocated to the laneway and tranformed into a 2-bedroom dwelling. The current corner building, The Carolina, will be repurposed for retail uses.

    Developer Team for Midtown Four
    Midtown Four was designed for PortLiving by Studio B Architects, a boutique Vancouver design firm with expertise in complex commercial, institutional, and mixed use projects. For the past 20 years, the principals of Studio B have helped shape the landscape of sustainable architecture. Hands on, flexible design in a collaborative environment, well-honed listening skills, and careful site analysis make Studio B an ideal collaborator.

    PortLiving was stablished in 2003 by Port Capital Group Inc., a Vancouver-based investment firm that began by focusing on developing pioneering projects in well-located, yet under-served and overlooked neighbourhoods. They strive to create working and living environments that are sustainable, practical, and serve to strengthen the city’s identity through good design and thoughtful intent. Coming after Midtown, Midtown Modern, and Midtown Central, this is PortLiving’s fourth project in this Mount Pleasant neighbourhood.
