The Junction of Downtown and Oceanfront

The Plaza at Junction Park is a mixed-use development by Solterra that combines retail, office, and residential uses over an entire downtown Squamish city block. It consists of an 8-storey mixed retail/residential mid-rise, a 6-storey mixed retail/residential building, and a 4-storey retail/office lowrise. The ground floor of the residential buildings provides a combination of commercial space and parking garage, while the second storey is devoted to parking. The upper floors are exclusively residential, offering a total of 161 condominiums, 28 affordable rental apartments, and 12 market rental apartments. A mid-block plaza features patio space and a pedestrian connection between Cleveland Avenue and Loggers Lane. A new woonerf-style plaza at the north end of the site will tie in with Junction Park and O’Siyam Pavilion to provide a more robust public space for community events.

While The Plaza at Junction Park will offer its own leisure, shopping, and employment options, residents will also enjoy many other amenities and social opportunities nearby. Across the street is award-winning Howe Sound Brewing. Other popular dining options nearby include The Copper Coil, Saha Eatery, and Taka Ramen & Sushi. Just a short walk, bike ride, or drive away, Chieftain Centre is your destination for everyday essentials with a Save-On-Foods, post office, Shoppers Drug Mart, liquor store, and pet supply shop. For recreational pursuits, you’ll be spoiled for choice, surrounded by world-class kiteboarding, sailing, climbing, mountain biking, and hiking. Welcome home to BC’s adventure capital.
