About Abbotsford
Abbotsford is the largest area in the Fraser Valley 42 miles east of Vancouver. With its fertile soil, Abbotsford is a booming agricultural area. It is the third most ethnically diverse city in Canada, after Vancouver and Toronto. It has incredible snow-capped mountain views of Mt Baker and the Olympic mountains. Abbotsford’s real estate market has a variety of properties to suit all budgets. Detached houses are significantly more affordable than Vancouver. Homes in this area are owned and are generally larger with more land. Competition for rental housing is relatively strong due to lower vacancy rates and higher levels of homeownership.
