Rize Alliance Proposing Surrey City Centre Mixed-Use Development

Rize Alliance has submitted an application to redevelop two four-storey apartment buildings at Whalley Boulevard and 101 Avenue. The 154 units of rental stock of the existing two buildings will be transitioned into new 11-storey and 13-storey rental towers. Three other towers will provide 906 condominiums, while a 6-storey woodframe mid-rise will contain 66 residences suited to families. UK-based Alison Brooks Architects, in collaboration with IBI Group, have designed an “open city block” format where the buildings encircle a 2-acre plaza, around which amenities and retail space are focused.
