About Vancouver West

The Westside of Vancouver is a more developed area, and many neighbourhoods have been there for a long time.  The border between the west side and east side of Vancouver is Main Street.  There are apartments, townhomes, and condos in the West End, Coal Harbour, and Yaletown neighbourhoods.  Some of the University of British Columbia students live close to the school in older heritage homes and apartments. There are many heritage houses in the area of Arbutus Ridge, Kerrisdale, Point Grey, Kitsilano, and Shaughnessy.   Between Granville Street and Main Street, you will find older apartments, houses and newer Condo Towers in False Creek and along the Cambie Corridor especially near skytrain stations.
