The Heart of Lynn Creek
Hunter is a new condominium and townhouse development from Intergulf Development Group that is coming to Lynn Creek Town Centre. The 2.1-acre site is situated at the southwest corner of Mountain Highway and Hunter Street, with Seylynn Park to the north, Lynn Creek to the west, and commercial + a light industrial area to the south. A 26,000 square feet community centre on the corner will be located on Mountain Highway and Hunter Street with the development tucked away next to it on the west side of Hunter and ending at a cul de sac. The project encompasses 311 strata units in total with one 27-storey residential tower to the west and one 16-storey residential tower to the east, joined by a four-storey building with 15 stacked townhomes. Between an amenity building at the south perimeter of the property and the residential buildings, is a landscaped courtyard for shared leisure use.
As the vision for the heart of Lynn Creek Town Centre is to create a focal point for community services and facilities, Hunter will enable the development of a three-level community centre, including daycare with outdoor playground. Other public realm improvements that Intergulf will contribute in the neighbourhood include a rain garden and street parking on the south side of Seylynn Park, the planting of street trees along Hunter Street, construction of a linked multi-use path on the west side of the development, an all-weather bus shelter near the corner of Hunter & Mountain Highway, development of a large public plaza fronting the community centre, and construction of separated bike lanes along Mountain Highway.
