    Gryphon Proposes Mixed-Use Development with Daycare for 49th & Cambie

    Gryphon Development and Acton Ostry Architects have applied to the City of Vancouver to redevelop four duplexes, from 6409-6487 Cambie Street, into a 10-storey mixed-use building over two levels of underground parking. In addition to 115 condominiums, they have proposed to include 12 live-work townhomes, over 10,000 sq ft of ground floor retail space, two floors of office space, and a 37-space daycare.

    A two-level underground parkade will provide space for 306 bicycles and 163 vehicles, including 58 retail/office, 8 accessible, 6 visitor, and 6 childcare stalls. All residential and 6 commercial stalls will be EV-ready. At grade will be short-term racks for 19 bicycles and 3 loading bays located off the lane.
