Placemaker Communities introduces Mary Anne’s Place, a new mixed-use development in Moody Centre named after Mary Anne Cooper, a long-time Port Moody heritage advocate who died in 2021 at the age of 107.

An entire city block will be redeveloped into a 6-storey strata building, a 6-storey apartment building, and the restored P. Burns and Company heritage building which will be relocated to the west side of the site, next to Queens Street Plaza.

Underground parking with capacity for 258 vehicles and storage for 271 bicycles is provided in a common parkade. At ground level is over 24,000 sq ft of commercial space. There is also a mid-block public mews providing passage between Clarke and Spring streets.

The 103 condominiums offer a range of floorplans, from 517 – 1,052 sq ft with 1- to 3-bedroom layouts. These include five live-work units and 55 adaptable suites. Temperature control, including air conditioning, is provided to all homes.

Condo owners will enjoy use of a large amenity room with a lounge, dining area, games zone, and a workspace. An adjacent rooftop terrace also includes social & dining spaces, a children’s play area, gardening planters, and an artificial turf lawn.
